This winter break has been amazing.
Its the eleventh day of the New Year and I feel so great. Sleeping in almost every day has been wonderful. Once I wake up I have time to cook breakfast and read my bible. Spending very much needed quality time with Jesus. Also have the chance to bond with my little pup since I'm home now during the days, she sure is enjoying it!
I finally got around to covering the compost/garden so snow won't get into it.
Organizing my desk/office space
Reorganizing my kitchen with new supplies from Christmas
Trying new recipes, such as homemade pumpkin bread from scratch

Going to Yoga a few times a week at a local spot, Nature Yoga
Working/Climbing at the gym (LVAC)
Spending time reconnecting with dear friends
Drinking great tea & coffee
Also pursuing my interest in coffee more with hopes to start apprentice roasting @ Ipsento in Bucktown, probably starting in Feb.

And one last thing, still working towards being more present at the Boys & Girls Club next door- more to come on that another time. Hopefully by then I will be hired and working there 2 days a week. No news on an internship.
Thats about it. Really just relaxing and finding joy in every moment. Afterall, this might be my last break for who knows how long.
